2024 PSSA Makeups

If your son/daughter was absent during PSSA testing, Mrs. Wilson will continue doing makeup sessions through May 10 until all tests are completed. If you have any questions, please contact the school. For more information about testing, please click HERE.

Ranger Football Recognition at the Washington Wild Things May 23

Join the Washington Wild Things and the Fort Cherry Rangers Football Team as we celebrate and honor the 2023 squad on the Rangers' achievements as 1A Black Hills Conference Champs, 1A WPIAL Champions and PIAA finalist at Wild Things Park, prior to Washington's game against the Evansville Otters. Half of the ticket proceeds under the umbrella of the team recognition will be donated back to the Fort Cherry Football Boosters. Come out, bring your family and friends, and have some fun in support of the boosters, the team, the school, and the community as we celebrate the storybook season the boys had! 2024 Keystone Exams

The Keystone Exams are end of course exams that take place at the end of designated courses. Students are required to take the exams at the end of these courses and retake them if they do not earn at least a proficient score. Retakes are required through the end of grade 11. If students do not earn a proficient score by the end of grade 11, they must meet one of the other four (4) graduation pathways.

Keystone Exam Dates:
Literature Exam (English 10, Honors English 10) – May 13-14
Algebra Exam (Algebra 1, Algebra 1B) – May 15-16
Biology Exam (Biology 1, Honors Biology 1) – May 17-20

Q3 Honor Roll Listing

The honor roll is determined four times each school year based on grades received in the most recent 9 week grading period.Honors classifications are determined as follows:

Highest Honors GPA 95% and above

High Honors GPA 90% - 94.999%

Honors GPA 80% - 89.999%

Students are not eligible for honor roll consideration if they have received a D, F, or I in any course.

2024 PSSAs - ELA, Math, Science

The Fort Cherry School District will administer the 2024 PSSAs for grades 3-8 beginning Monday, April 22, during the morning. Any students who are absent will make-up missed sessions on another day or in the afternoon, as appropriate. Please see the eblast from your school sent on Wednseday, April 17, for more information. Testing Dates:

ELA - April 22-24 (grades 3-8)

Math - April 30-May 1 (grades 3-8)

Science - May 2-3 (grades 4, 8)
